Moon in Cancer

Apr 2, 2020

Luna is now moving through the final degrees of Cancer, so those of you who have been feeling extra soft & squidgy – this will start to ease.

Water therapy, such as warm baths or listen to a water meditation or have your partner share a relaxation massage are great during such a window…to help us soften into a place of deep acceptance of ‘what is’ & go with the flow.

You may find your digestion a bit more sensitive than usual during a Cancer lunar transit as our emotions are linked to our ability to digest our experiences.

So when we’re upset emotionally it disrupts this function. This is why those who grow up not feeling emotionally safe, supported & held in their family of origin can develop intolerances & digestive problems later in life due to trauma held within this part of the body.

So if you’ve noticed you’re reactive emotionally, indicating unresolved emotional wounds, consider assisting your digestion by modifying your diet – eating less grains, dairy, animal protein, sugar & caffeine & eating more veggies, drinking lots of lemon water, veggie juices, eggs, fish & plant based proteins to detox your body gently.

This will help you to detox emotionally, so you feel calmer due to a less acidic system.

This is the time to introduce a way of eating that inspired by deep self-nurturance rather than either the polarities of self-deprival or self-indulgence.
