The moon is moving into Capricorn today for the new moon.
With both sun & moon as well as Jupiter having arrived in this sign – which rules our bones & joints, you may hear your body asking for more stretching than usual. This is also a really good time for a body work session.

Today will also see the first of the Eclipse season with the Annular Solar Eclipse in Capricorn!

Capricorn is ruled by Saturn which helps us create solid plans & organize them to completion. If you have a lot of Cappy in your chart or Saturn on your ascendent you will be naturally gifted at coming up with plans & organizing – however, if you don’t, this may prove a big challenge which effects every aspect of your life…
For without preparation there can be no success so like the old saying, ‘If you fail to plan, plan to fail.’

This window may now bring this lesson to a head in your life – especially if you have polarized (which is common around Solstices) into either being the one who always does the planning & organizing or one who always relies on others to plan & organize. Either is unbalanced & will therefore lead to tension & conflict.

For those who never plan or organize become completely dependent on those who do. If we can’t create structure for ourselves, our life descends into chaos, passivity or inertia so we look to others who seem strong enough to lead & rely on them for direction. This leads to a dynamic where the one who is given all the authority ends up abusing their power as they resent the other for not being sovereign & self-directed.

This is why Capricorn brings up our issues with authority. For no one has power ‘over us’ unless we give our personal power over to them. The way to change this dynamic is to take charge of our own lives by coming up with a plan & being responsible for executing it, step-by-step. If this is a huge challenge, consider employing a life coach to mentor & help you develop these skills…to avoid the wrath of the dark father, one who is tired of being over-responsible for others.
