Moon is still in Taurus so this is a day when one could be tempted to overspend on pretty things, clothes & gourmet food to unconsciously fill oneself with love. This is because Taurus is an Earth sign ruled by Venus. The lesson of Venus is self love so if we haven’t been treating ourselves well this is the time of the month when we may overspend on sensual pleasure in a bid to feel beautiful & therefore lovable.

So for what it’s worth, here’s my tip if this Luna transit has you heading towards the shops..I read this in a book many years ago (can’t recall the title, sorry) & reckon it’s worth sharing.

Only buy an article of clothing if you fall in love with it! That way, regardless of the price you will get value for money. As one can determine the value of a piece of clothing by dividing what you paid for it by the number of times you’ve worn it.

So if you absolutely love something you’ll wear it until it falls apart, making it great value. This is the opposite of buying stuff just because it’s marked down & ending up with a heap of stuff you never really wear.

Ultimately it’s our perception of beauty not our actual appearance that needs a makeover. Given we live in a culture driven by corporations that prey upon our insecurities to make a profit, the distortion of true beauty is rife.
