The moon governs our inner self and our inner child. So, as a child you probably liked making cubby houses, playing with dolls, or playing house and baking as Cancer is the sign of home and the caretaker.

You seek home comfort

You probably like welcoming people into your home & are involved in your local community or have pets, children, or the elderly in your care, or work in a service profession, such as teaching or nursing.You may have a close relationship with your family of origin and even live with one or both of your parents or close by. It may be a challenge to individuate from your mother and focus on your own needs instead of always being available to respond to the needs of others.

Security is important to you

Both emotional and material security. This can lead to co-dependent relationships and is the sign often most reluctant to leave home. You also need to resist the urge to parent your partner. So choose partners who are psychologically and emotionally mature and assume responsibility for processing their own psyche and emotions.

You are very intuitive and psychic so you provide both compassion and wise counsel for others, making you an idea-intuitive counsellor or oracle reader. Doing a craft activity with your hands can also help to unwind your mind from overthinking.

Highly sensitive, you need clear boundaries to avoid shutting yourself away for fear of being hurt. This will be exacerbated when the moon moves through Cancer each month.
