Who’s on your wavelength now?
In the lead up to this full moon we’re likely to notice those who are really on our wavelength and those who aren’t, so we can accelerate our vibrational ascension rate by hanging with those who amplify our light rather than those whose energy feels out of kilter and therefore cumbersome to accommodate and draining.
Aquarius asks us to raise our frequency on the understanding that the more we do this the more we move into flow of divine timing and experience grace through synchronicity.
If your frequency is no longer compatible with the dominant group mind within your work environment, social circle or culture you’re likely to notice your inner rebel wanting to break free. When disempowered we’ll rebel in counterproductive ways rather than creatively by fully embracing our point of difference and becoming the change in a spirit of celebration.
Aquarius full moon brings to a head anything that feels restrictive, that’s inhibiting our highest growth. If we stay in a structure that doesn’t embrace our progressive ideas we may be branded as a troublemaker. So we may have to step outside the system – to have the freedom to create the new way forwards that beckons.
Aquarius is the visionary…one who sees the future and seeds the possibility in the NOW. So don’t be discouraged if you are considered before your time, your ideas too radical for the current paradigm. Continue marching to the beat of your own drum and others will join you as they feel called.
Archetypal Energy: The Visionary
Lesson: To introduce new reforms that provide equal benefits to all
Aquarius is the part of us that receives inspired thoughts and visions which motivate us to create something positive for the future which is innovative in providing a solution to past problems.
In the patriarchal version of the myth of Aquarius, Ganymede the youth who became the constellation of Aquarius was abducted to be the gay lover of Zeus. One day he grew tired of being his personal wine waiter and threw out all the ambrosia (wine). An act of disobedience that the Olympiad Gods said caused the great flood as it fell to Earth. As punishment he was cast into the stars.
Whilst that’s to be certain a distortion of the original myth, with the lover of the patriarch being scapegoated for wreaking havoc on Earth (usually cast on the feminine) it is an inspirational parable in that the youth stands up to the elder who has abused his power.
So, do stand up for what you believe in this month, even in the face of a bully or unfair power structure at work, home or school. Those who are dedicated to bringing equal and fair outcomes for the greater good will prevail during the Aquarian Age. That’s why this astrological age is also referred to as the Age of Light. This is possible after we find our inner authority in the previous sign of Capricorn.
Aquarius asks us to question what is outdated, inefficient or unfair. It is the sign of reform that ushers in unconventional ideas which offer innovative solutions to old problems. Aquarius reminds us of our ability to change the world with bright ideas this it’s symbol of the cup bearer. It symbolizes one whose mind is empty enough to receive a fresh outlook.
