Are you ready to face your deepest fears?Scorpio transits take us into our deepest pain, not as a punishment but to liberate us from our wound unconsciously driving every choice we make as a compensation for it. Scorpio asks us to explore the polarities of agony and ecstasy as these are the states of intense feeling where the mind is completely eclipsed by a force greater than itself, Spirit. This is the event that cracks the ego open in a state of surrender so a new perspective and identity can emerge periodically.
Scorpio is the shaman of the zodiac who seeks out experiences that will transform us through their intensity. In-tense means being totally in the NOW moment when all our senses are alert. It is usually a moment of crises that evokes this level of awareness. Since Scorpio is a deeply internal feminine sign, the crises are often psycho-spiritual and emotional – an existential crisis. A questioning of existence and our place in it and takes us into the abyss of doubt of all we thought to be true.
As the sign of death and rebirth, it is during these powerful descents within that we are most at risk of suicidal ideations. While not acknowledged as normal these are part of our human experience if we are to live fully allowing the totality of our being complete expression.
The more we understand how descend periods in our life where everything appears to collapse taking us into chaos, the deepest frear of the rational ego mind the less chance we will act upon feelings of despair to do self-harm.
Our challenge in a showdown between the ego mind and the soul…and the key to transforming our psyche from ego dominant to soul dominant is to stay connected to ourselves through our feelings rather than try and think our way to victory.
A shaman will seek out processes that enable them to feel truly and deeply. Activities that take us out of our mind whilst remaining fully conscious, such as breath work, trance dance and sexual self-pleasure as a sacred practice. For it is through intense feeling we enter the storm that will completely destroy all that needs to be destroyed so we can rebuild that which is truly of value to our soul.
Scorpio asks us to confront our saboteur. That which disempowers us so we can access more of our authentic personal power
